Things to Do in Roatan on Land
Besides being home to some of the best beaches in the world and offering a vast array of water activities, there is plenty to do on land. The good news is that the tour includes transfer from and back to the cruise ship port. You can also go on a guided nature walk and experience the island from a different perspective. From bird-watching to getting up close to some of the best wildlife on the island, hiking is a great way to spend the day here.
Half Moon Beach
Considered as a perfect place for snorkeling and diving, Half Moon Bay beach inhabitants include much exotic fish, as well as sea stars and other coral life. This is a great beach for beginner divers, while professionals can visit greater depths and see many turtles.
No visit to Roatan is complete without checking out West End. This local town is home to some of the best restaurants on the island and boasts dozens of cute shops where you can purchase a souvenir or two to bring back home. The sunsets here are also amazing. All you need to do is find a bar, order a refreshing drink, and enjoy magnificent sunset views.

Little French Key
Lined with coconut palms, Little French Key is a unique tropical paradise which attracts many tourists. Besides enjoying the beach and visiting some of the finest restaurants and bars on the island, you can also check out the lovely wildlife sanctuary at Little French Key and get up close and personal to cute animals.
